Everyone has the same list.
Anyone can send you villas, and it is broadly the same collection — the same houses on six websites with six photographers and six sets of adjectives.
What is not the same is knowing them. Which one takes the afternoon wind. Which is a fifteen-minute cart ride from the beach, which matters enormously with a toddler and a nap schedule. Which chef is worth building a week around. Which house photographs considerably better than it lives.
We are here all year and so is our team. The staff in these houses work with us between your visits, not for the first time on your arrival morning. Where we do not manage a house ourselves, we will say so, and tell you who does.
A house here comes with people in it.
Most properties are fully staffed — a cook, housekeeping, a butler in the larger ones, and a gardener you will never see. Breakfast is made in the house. Dinner can be too.
Our chefs are the part people write to us about afterwards. Tell us how the family eats and we will match the kitchen to it rather than hand you a menu on the first evening.
Open, cold, stocked and staffed.
Somebody walks the house the day before. The air conditioning goes on before you do, not after. The kitchen is stocked to a list you sent us rather than a standard hamper — the coffee you actually drink, the milk the children will accept, the wine that is worth opening on the first night.
And there is a car at the aircraft. Not at the terminal, and not with your name on a board.

- Roughly $40–$80 per person per day, depending on how you eat.

- Villa Owners Club registration and the daily resort fee, settled before you arrive.
The house is the easy part. The week around it is the work.
Twenty minutes by air and there is a beach with nobody on it.
Some of the best days we arrange do not happen at the villa at all. A helicopter out to a stretch of coast with no road to it, lunch set up before you land, back before the light goes.
Boats to Catalina and Saona. Riding on the sand. Diving. The parts of this country most people who come here never see.
Three courses at home, and two worth the flight.
Casa de Campo. Teeth of the Dog is the reason a great many people come and it deserves the reputation. Dye Fore runs along the cliffs above the Chavón. The Links is the one visitors underestimate and members play most. We hold the tee times, the caddies you would want twice, the carts and clubs, and lunch at the hour you will actually want it.
Punta Cana. Fifty minutes east — La Cana and Corales, the latter good enough that the professionals come to it. A comfortable day trip, or a night away if the group would rather.
Playa Grande. The north coast, and a different game entirely: ten holes on the cliff edge above the Atlantic, with the wind to match. A short flight rather than a long drive.
Tournaments. Eight to thirty-two players, two or three courses, scoring, prizes, caddies, transport and a dinner at the end of it. We run these properly, with a named lead who is present for the whole thing.
Casa de Campo first. Then the rest.
Casa de Campo is where we are resident and where the houses we manage ourselves are. Beyond it we work across Cap Cana and Punta Cana, Las Terrenas and Samaná, Playa Grande and Sea Horse Ranch — and further out through people we have used for years.
We look after houses between visits, too.
Staff, maintenance, contractors, the pool plant and the generator, storm preparation, and the long empty months when nobody is watching. One written report a month, with the contractor invoices attached and the costs at cost.
On the morning you land, the house is open, cold and waiting — and you have the same team as everybody else on this page.
